Touchstones by McDermott Glass Studio, located in Sandwich, are unique, small glass memorials that are designed to fit perfectly in the palm of your hand. Infused with a small amount of cremation ashes, these memorials are also referred to as rubbing stones, or memory stones. They are roughly the diameter of a silver dollar and between 1/4 and 1/2 inch thick.

Each custom piece is locally hand-crafted and incorporates a small amount of cremation ash, allowing you to scatter, bury, or store the remainder in traditional memorial and keepsake urns.
